Haapajärvi Kiilat will organize the FIS XXVI Mika Myllylä national skiing competition on January 13.-14.1 2024.
The competitions are at the same time the ST1-competition and the junior WC-inspections.
The competition cente is at the Somero skiing centre, address Ouluntie 780.

The competition office is located on the second floor of Somero maja.
Open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ski testing and practice track (depending on the snow situation)
• testing is available nearby of the stadium on the warm-up and sliding test track (see regional map)
Getting to know the tracks
Friday 12.1. the tracks are free to use until 19:00
Saturday 13.1. from 8:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. and afternoon during the break between the sets. After the competition, the tracks are open until 19:00.
Sunday 14.1. from 8:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. and afternoon during the break between the sets.
There are no official practice times!
Tracks
We use 2 km, 3 km, 5 km tracks.
Changing rooms and shower
Men and women have their own dressing rooms and showers (sauna included) on the ground floor of the main building. The entrance is at the north end of the house. There are limited changing rooms, so they cannot be used as an equipment storage. There are toilets inside the house. There are also clean, warm toilets outside in the parking area.
Team captain meetings
The team captain meeting will be held on Friday at 19:00 on the ground floor of the main building. You can join it with Teams. The link will be here.
Traffic and location:
Address: Ouluntie 780, from where there are directions to the competition center.
Parking is guided by parking attendants (free of charge). Parking for skiers is near the competition area.

Competition numbers / bibs:
Race numbers are picked up from the number distribution point outside at the east side of main building before the race.
Race numbers are collected immediately at the finish in a box in the finish area.
We charge €50 for unreturned bib.
Starting order
In series M, M20, 18, N M20, N18 starting place is determined by FIS points. If the skier does not have FIS points, the starting place is drawn.
All other series have been drawn.
Restaurant:
During the competitions, the cafeteria serves inside the main building. There is also a possibility to eat lunch inside the house and buy grilled sausages outside.
Bank cards and cash are accepted as payment methods
First aid:
A first aid team at the competition venue throughout the competition event
Drop out
Those who have drop out of the competition must report to the competition office immediately.
Protest period:
15 minutes from the publication of the provisional results

Waxing facilities:
There is a maintenanc building in the area with separate waxing cabins. The cabins are available for rent during the competitions. See the bottom page for maintenance facilities.
Rules:
In the competitions, the rules of FIS and the Finnish Ski Federation are followed. The frost limit is -15°C degrees. Youth series -17°C veterans and adults -20°C
